Addison Rae sparked controversy by posting a photo for her Adidas campaign. However, this was not the only controversy in which Addison was involved.
Influencer Addison Rae rose to fame in 2019 and has since attracted over 88 million followers to her TikTok @addisonre. However, with fame comes controversy, and that’s exactly what happened to Addison after a now-deleted Instagram post promoting Adidas on August 2, 2022.

The influencer posted an image of herself wearing a Holy Trinity bikini sold by clothing brand Praying, confirming her partnership with Adidas in the same photo. “Father” was written on one side of the swimsuit, and “Son” was written on the other. The bikini bottoms, which were not in the photo, have “Holy Spirit” written on them.
The next day, Addison deleted the message and the issue was never brought up again.
However, the debate over the photo continued as people either asked the influencer to apologize or thought the photo was okay. No matter where you are, this controversy comes at a bad time, as Addison found herself at the center of yet another scandal involving her family a few weeks ago.

The controversy surrounding Addison Rae Adidas has definitely got people talking.
Like many of Addison’s Instagram photos, people complimented the TikToker on the photo, leaving comments like “omg” and “home run.” Others seemed to find the photo disrespectful. One commenter even said, “It’s sad what you do for money.”
“No one will talk about this disrespect for religions?” asked another Instagram user.
Others continued to voice their negative opinions, saying things like “such a mess” and “this is not normal.” Shortly after the negative comments surfaced, Addison deleted the photo, but the damage had already been done.

Singer Christina Aguilera published a video on July 29, 2022, in which she is wearing exactly the same swimsuit, only the words were in French, not English. Like Addison, she received comments from people who criticized her for wearing a Holy Trinity swimsuit.
The scandal with Addison Rae arose immediately after another scandal related to her family.
The Instagram photo issue came almost exactly a month after a then 25-year-old woman named Renee Ash claimed she had a five-month affair with Addison’s father Monty Lopez. Monty was 46 years old at the time of the affair and allegedly made it clear that the relationship was more than just a fling.

“Unfortunately, he misled me about his marriage, he lied to me,” Renee said. Page six. “He told me we were going to be together and have kids.”
During their affair, she claimed that she was convinced Monty was divorcing his wife, Sheri Easterling. Renee took part in the interview after a video of Monty caressing the 19-year-old girl’s back was leaked online on July 5, 2022.
The controversy with Adidas and her family has since subsided, but Addison has not worked with Adidas since then. She is also not on good terms with her parents, but it is unclear how close she is to her brothers Enzo and Lucas Lopez.
