Recall one episode. The moment the crew members couldn’t take off the chains he wore around his neck to set up the scene:

I said, “I want to feel real weight, put real weight on me. I want real chains. So they took these old chains and put them around my neck, and they fixed them, and I stood there, and the prop man tried to put the key in, but it didn’t work. And I’m like, “Oh no. Will, relax. And I was there, and they ran and could not release me. I was in these chains, one step away from hyperventilating.

Fortunately, everything turned out for the best. Despite the ordeal, Will Smith will never return, admitting that this movie changed him a lot.

I would not return. It was one of the greatest experiences I have ever had as an actor. Peter introduced me to God, my faith was strengthened after working on this film.
