Wonka: New Trailer for Timothée Chalamet’s Musical Fantasy Film Shows Another Look at the Bizarre World of Willy’s Chocolate Factory

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory are two names that are very synonymous with each other. The inventor is one of the most beloved characters, thanks to the stories of Roald Dahl from his children’s book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The character of Willie has been portrayed on screen several times, first in the 1971 film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory by Gene Wilder and in the 2005 film Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Johnny Depp.

And that’s not all: Timothée Chalamet is now set to portray the famous character in a prequel film called Wonka, which aims to showcase the origins of the revolutionary chocolate maker. A new trailer for the film has been released, giving fans another glimpse into the magical world of the chocolate factory. Here’s everything we know about the fun upcoming film.

The second Wonka trailer starring Timothée Chalamet has been released

The second Wonka trailer opens with Chalamet’s character Willy Wonka catching Hugh Grant’s character Oompa Loompa and saying, “So you’re the funny little man who’s been chasing me.” The latter then replies, “I want you to know that I’m quite a decent size for an Oompa-Loompa.” The video continues to show Willie’s tricks and skills, including the hilarious Wild and the wonderfully useless invention.

“Everything good in this world began with a dream. So hold on to yours,” says the dialogue as Willie tries to get past the naysayers and people trying to bring him down. You can expect magic, laughter, emotion, music, song and dance as the character Timothy tries to change the world. The trailer ends with Hugh Grant’s character Lofty saying: “Tell me what it is or I’ll poke you viciously with a cocktail stick.”
