Mahomes excited for another Super Bowl in NFL season opener

When the NFL’s 104th season begins Thursday, football MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes will start looking for his fourth Super Bowl appearance in five seasons.

Quarterback Mahomes, 27, who led Kansas City to its second Super Bowl title in four seasons last February, will lead the Chiefs in Game 1 against the Detroit Lions.

While the Chiefs remain the favorite to beat, no club has won back-to-back Super Bowls since Tom Brady led the New England Patriots to NFL titles in 2004 and 2005.
