There Slovak alternative pop singer Karin Ann published new single “stranger with my face“, With 3 am reports.
The song, with its symphonic folk sounds, talks about losing aspects of your character when you develop feelings for someone else, how you become another person’s version or who you think you want to be.
Accompanied by the sounds of guitar and velvety harmonies of “Fleetwood Mac” Karin Ann celebrates the theme of excessive idolatry.

About the song Karin Ann states: “Some of the lyrics seemed almost religious to me, so I wanted the chorus to sound like a choir. It’s almost like you make the person you love your God, you worship them in a very toxic and unhealthy way. You end up speaking his lingo to match his way of speaking… it’s not even about getting him to like you, but rather getting him to like you enough to make you want to be more like him.
