The World Health Organization announced that 20 hospitals in Gaza were out of service. It is noteworthy that the area surrounding Al-Shifa Hospital witnessed severe violence. While the Israeli attacks continue, the firing of rockets and artillery at hospitals continues. Dozens of people, including women and children, are at risk as a result of the targeting of displaced people. Calls for a “ceasefire” continue.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health called for urgent intervention to stop attacks on Gaza’s hospitals, which are subject to Israeli siege and bombing, and “massacres” against patients there.
Palestinian Minister of Health Mai Alkaila made a written statement regarding Israel’s targeting of hospitals in Gaza.
Kyle called for an end to the massacres against hospitals, patients, medical staff, and displaced people, and stressed that the disaster in Gaza is unprecedented in Palestinian and international history.
The Palestinian Minister continued his statement as follows:
“Israel is besieging hospitals, bombing them, and killing those inside them in front of the eyes of the whole world, regardless of international norms, law, and morals. This is a massacre in every sense of the word.”
Minister Kyle explained that the injured began to die as a result of the depletion of fuel and medical supplies, and pointed out that 20 out of 35 hospitals in Gaza were no longer able to provide service.
