Jennifer Lawrence has teamed up with film and stage icon Matthew Broderick for an R-rated adult comedy. No hard feelingswhich hit the big screen on June 23 after almost becoming a streaming release.
Despite topping the box office charts in its opening weekend, the comedy barely crossed $80 million in revenue on a $45 million budget, hitting online markets less than two months after its theatrical release.
When will No Hard Feelings start streaming?
Netflix has announced (via WhenToStream) the official date for the Jennifer Lawrence series’ streaming debut. No hard feelings.
The R-rated comedy will be available to stream on Netflix starting Monday, October 22, marking a 122-day break between its theatrical and streaming releases.
It’s part of Sony Pictures’ flat-fee deal with Netflix, which sees all of its films starting in 2022 going to Netflix, while the streamer gets first choice of Sony releases for direct streaming.
What’s coming to Netflix soon?
Together with No hard feelings will be released on Netflix, fans will be able to dive into several new entries throughout the rest of 2023.
October mainly features a number of classic franchises joining the streamer, including Tom Cruise’s first three. The task is impossible movies along with both Andrew Garfield films The Incredible Spider-Man walks.
In addition, the first three entries in Spy Kids all franchises will arrive on Friday, October 13th, almost a month after Spy Kids: Armageddon On September 22, it made its global streaming debut.
There will also be new recordings coming to Netflix, including Big mouth Season 7, which recently released a fully R-rated NSFW trailer featuring Megan Thee Stallion’s new character.
Given the relative absence of new competitors, No hard feelings should have a chance to perform well and Sony hopes it will rank high in viewership after its average box office performance.
