Nosferatu – Aaron Taylor-Johson and other new cast members

Focus Features – production house of the project – has in fact shared, in these hours, a updated report of the cast involved in Nosferatu. Among the newcomers, in addition to Taylor-Johnson, also figure Simon McBruney And Ralph Ineson – horror film veteran, former face of The Boy – The Curse of Brahms And The Witch and voice of the Devil ne The Pope’s exorcistwith Russell Crowe and Franco Nero. Ineson and Dafoe then return to collaborate in a film by Robert Eggers, after sharing the set of The Northman – Dafoe was also directed by the director in The Lighthouse. Aaron Taylor Johnson – launched by Kick-Ass and sequels and known to the general public for the role of Peter Maximoff\Quicksilver In the mcu – recently appeared in Bullet train by David Leitch and is expected in the cinecomic Kraven The Hunter and in The Fall Guy, action thriller starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt. The young star also won, in 2017, the Golden Globes for Best Supporting Actor for Nocturnal animals.

Nosferatu is based – very loosely – on Friedrich Murnau’s masterpiece, Nosferatu the Vampireitself an adaptation of Dracula by Bram Stoker. A young womanwho lives in 19th century Germany, is tormented by an ancient vampire from Transylvania, Nosferatu, who stalks and follows her everywhere, bringing unspeakable horror with him. The main theme of Eggers’ vision therefore becomes obsession. To take on the role of the young protagonist is Lily-Rose DeppWhile Bill Skarsgard – already the face of another horror icon, the clown Pennywise in the two-part reboot of IT – interprets Nosferatu. At the moment unknown, however, the roles of Emma Corrin, Willem Dafoe and Nicholas Hoult – also expected in a horror comedy version of the myth of Dracula, Renfield with Nicolas Cage. The production did not reveal the characters who will interpret the three new entries of the cast. Nosferatu see director Robert Eggers (The Witch, The Lighthouse, The Northman) also engaged as a writer and producer, in collaboration with with Jeff Robinov, John Graham, Chris Columbus and Eleanor Columbus. Eggers, for the latest effort, has therefore put together a cast formed by “his of him” loyal to him-Willem Dafoe-and by new faces of the genre, flanked by horror veterans such as Bill Skarsgard and Ralph Ineson. Filming of Nosferatu are currently in progress at Prague, while an exit window has not yet been defined. All that remains is to wait for new ones updates.
