On an episode of Up in Smoke starring Stephen Jackson and Matt Barnes, the special guest was Robert Horry. Horry discussed his thoughts on the “GOAT” debate and how he would rank players.

Horry said: “MJ is 1, Kobe is 2, LeBron is 3“. The former Lakers star couldn’t find any flaws in Jordan’s game. People often said Jordan didn’t shoot three-pointers. Then he said: “When you reveal this, people are going to say you slapped LeBron in the face“. Horry gave the reason, saying that Jordan doesn’t have to shoot three-pointers because no one can stop him when he breaks through the basket or makes a jump shot. He said that Jordan can shoot three-pointers when he wants.

Kobe is in a similar situation. LeBron is a great player and he means no disrespect to LeBron by saying that. He said, “LeBron is 1c, Kobe is 1B, Mike is just No. 1“.

He later stated that the others did not have many flaws but had “Small cracks in the armor“And Jordan didn’t. So in a world where we look through a microscope at the work these great men did, Jordan was better. Which led Stephen Jackson to say, “He (Michael Jordan) has more rings than anyone else“.
