In a recent interview with InStyle, the actress recalled how she metabolized the success that came with Percy Jackson and the Olympians. It wasn’t her first film, but she definitely allowed her to get a close-up taste of her fame. At the same time, Alexandra Daddario explained that all that success he didn’t change it.
I’ve never been the kind of person who believed they’d made it to the finish line. Even now I don’t believe it, but I like my life for now. I’m very proud of what I’ve accomplished, but it’s a ladder. You always try to go up. When you reach a certain age and you’re still in the running you think, ‘Maybe I’m not going to go back to Marymount to get a degree or figure out what to do with life, because that’s my job.’
About the future, the actress added that she’s not a strategic person so she doesn’t like planning what’s to come. “For most of my twenties, I didn’t get big offers. People haven’t taken me seriously for some things I’ve done and that’s okay, but from my point of view I’ve always taken my characters seriously, so I’ve always found something special in every project I’ve taken part in. So I live it day by day. I think it’s hard to make plans because you have to adjust them a lot. I think if you plan too much you will eventually change your mind, because anything can happen”.
