Another Taylor Swift-themed entry by LEGO Ideas hits 10,000 votes but ends up breaking the Lovers’ House mold.
While a Taylor Swift-based LEGO set will certainly be a popular follow-up to BTS’s 21339 Dynamite sale, as the Swifties have already sent Ticketmaster into a downward spiral due to how many people wanted tickets for the singer-songwriter’s iconic Eras Tour, applications Until now, they have remained in the House of Lovers, and neither the first nor the second, but three similar projects are only in this phase of refinement. Now a project from donnydings (who designed one of the aforementioned Lover House structures) has broken the mold by showcasing the best and brightest of Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour.
The Real Eras Tour is a showcase of Taylor Swift’s life’s work: a three-hour show featuring music from all of her ten albums. With outfits that nod back to the musician’s eras and sets that reflect the emotional weight of specific shows, there’s a lot to capture on the LEGO set-based tour.
To showcase the diversity of the show, the proposed set includes six Taylors, one from each era, as well as guitarist Paul Sidoti and four backup dancers. In addition, the actual Eras Tour show has been faithfully recreated with a removable reputation snake and Lover House screen effects, Look What You Made Me Do glass cases (which also double as storage options for additional Taylors), a dive that can open and close, and more. .
While Taylor Swift: The Era Tour received 10,000 fan votes, the fate of the set is now in the hands of the LEGO Ideas team. It joins 42 other sets in the current review phase, but if the success of 21339 Dynamite BTS is anything more than that, the Taylor Swift-themed LEGO Ideas set would be a smart way to tap into one of the biggest fandoms in the world.
