Arcane: Season 2 will release in 2024.

Arcane 2 is scheduled for release at the end of next year, in 2024, with news to be announced on Video Conference V Vision organized by Tencent, the Chinese parent company League of Legends. But we can narrow the launch window even further, as the series will most likely launch in November, the month in which the first season was released, and host a League of Legends 15th anniversary event.

Riot Games CEO Nicolo Laurent previously offered an update explaining why Arcane Season 2 is taking longer to release:

“He is not ready yet, and there are two reasons for this. First, you need quality. We don’t want to rush, so it takes time. This is a good reason. The bad news is, to be honest, we didn’t know if the first season was going to be a hit, so we only started the second season (later). If we had known, we could have started the second season much sooner. But we did not know this, so we waited a bit and now we are paying for it. Unfortunately, this will not happen this year.”

The series is set in the utopian region of Piltover and the oppressed dungeon of Zaun. “The Origins of Two Iconic League Champions and the Force That Will Separate Them”. The two characters are V and Jinx, sisters who have fallen apart after a series of tragic and unfortunate events.

The series stars Hailee Steinfeld as Vee, Kathy Leung as Caitlin, Kevin Alejandro as Jace, Jason Spisak as Silko, Ella Purnell as Jinx, Tox Olagundoy as Mel, JB Blanc as Wander, and Harry Lloyd as Victor.
