Vincent Peters: Time Out of Time set up in Palazzo Albergati From Bologna it will be yesDefinitely one of the most visited photography exhibitions of the year after the great success at the Palazzo Reale in Milan.

timeless time» – this is the name of the journey through the cult and eternal frames I am taking photos Vincent Peters What, until October 1presents a selection of black and white works in which light plays a major role in defining emotions and tell the stories of the characters depicted and their intimate ability to reflect beauty. Here everything is a world of stars and celebrities, depicted as a modern Olympus.

But what fascinated me in the numerous portraits of Vincent Peters was the atmosphere of Italian neo-realist cinema. THAT his shots are fabulous stories, consists of overlapping layers that interact with each other, complementing each other. His work is essentially characterized by layering and difference: each element that converges and condenses in each of his individual shots forms a layer that never loses its individuality and distinction.
And at the meeting of these single layers, every image of Peters tells a story. Until it becomes a movie in one shot.

Photographs taken by Vincent Peters between 2001 and 2021. who, using impeccable lighting, elevates his characters to positions that often transcend their celebrity status.

I was afraid to see an exhibition depicting steps (wonderful and incomparable steps!) Helmut Newton. But sensuality, even sexuality, eroticism, the provocation of the miraculous icons depicted by Helmut Newton here, behind the lens vincent peters, they become sensitive and sometimes even fragile.

These are the ones that impressed me the most. They are all portraits of spectacular beauties, and therefore it is risky to fall into banality, but I portraits Vincent Peters behind the look they discover other lives.

John Malkovich II

He looks almost scared. A downcast look, covered by the collar of an opaque and rich black coat. Leave only the profile open, emphasizing the shy expression. This is an intimate portrait. The image of the actor is so unstoppable that he wants to take refuge here. Out of sight and further away from myself.

The play of contrasts prevails here. The personality of the character recedes. Only a bright point on the cheekbone stands out. The shooting stops. John Malkovich is wrapped like a bud and protected, almost defenseless, in a rich black halo.

Even seduction Charlize Theron clouded by thoughts. He covers his face with his hands and looks away. Charlize Theron here she is a prisoner of her thoughts. The light creates a distance between her feeling and the perfection of her features.

Emotional authenticity in the portrait of each muse.

Three real beauties are captured in the dark depths of their eyes: Monica Bellucci, Angelina Jolie, Penelope Cruz.

In addition to sensuality, surprised by plump parted lips, there is a play of contrasts between the languid frankness of views. and worn window frames.

David Beckham

How to make perfect imperfect. The grooves in the stone are the scratches and clean engravings of the physical strength of the most beloved footballer of all time.
