After Bill Maher destroyed the Connecticut chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America on Friday night for complaining about Israel being a “stolen land” while simultaneously pointing out that the Constitutional State is, in fact, exactly that, he took aim at porn star Mia. Khalifa for her own views on the war with Hamas.
“Someone can tell the Palestinian freedom fighters to turn their phones upside down and shoot videos horizontally,” Lebanese-born Khalifa tweeted on Oct. 8.
The late-night host, during his opening monologue, said Khalifa “rejoiced in murder” and criticized her for wanting to “see the carnage” in clearer detail, then noted that she had single-handedly proven “that you can literally have your own brains.” ” screwed up.
“Dude, where’s Donald Trump when you need someone to pay a porn star to shut up?” Maher told the crowd.
Maher said he had not heard of Khalifa before, but learned that she became famous “for giving blowjobs while wearing a hijab.” However, if she ever tried to conduct her trade within Gaza, she would not be given a “warm welcome.”
“No, they would,” Maher quickly responded, “because you’d get caught on fire, asshole.”
As for the Harvard University students who signed an open letter posted on social media condemning Israel itself for provoking Hamas attacks by maintaining an “apartheid regime,” Maher also hoisted them on his own petard during his opening monologue.
“The terrorist group that runs the Gaza Strip, Hamas, swept into Israel, killed over 1,300 people, men, women and children, and then college students in America attacked Trump and said, ‘There are very good people on both sides,’” Maher said.
He went on to note that billionaire hedge funder Bill Ackman has launched a campaign to “blacklist” those who have “essentially thrown in their lot with murderers.” This could one day make it difficult for students to find jobs, Maher said. However, Maher continued, many students continued to defend their position.
“But,” he said, “they strongly object to the word blacklist.”
