Billie Eilish and her ex-boyfriend Jesse Rutherford officially ended their relationship in May 2023. And now the “Bad Guy” singer is taking to Instagram with proof that she “can’t be single anymore.”
Last week, Eilish shared several photos of the disastrous state of her refrigerator. And while the Diet Coke explosion is at least partially responsible for this mess, she’s definitely no Cameron Diaz or Gwyneth Paltrow when it comes to organizing. Her shelves are filled with random containers of food (including nuts? In the freezer??).
“I’m so dead I literally couldn’t be more alone right now LMFAO what the hell does this all mean,” she wrote on Instagram Stories, according to PEOPLE.

Fans quickly took to X to criticize the pop star for her sloppiness. “It’s disgusting. All this money, and you don’t have cleaning services,” wrote one user on the social network. “Okay, this is disgusting. What the hell,” another added.
“This has nothing to do with loneliness,” a third person wrote. “She’s just nasty.”
As for the Coke explosion, it looks like Eilish was *trying* to get in on the viral TikTok trend of crispy Coke, which involves freezing the can to achieve a slush-like consistency. Of course, there is a way to successfully complete the task without ruining the entire refrigerator.
According to TikToker @Hauskris, the key to getting a “perfect, amazing, beautiful, crispy” Diet Coke is to let the soda marinate in the refrigerator for two weeks. “The longer it sits in the refrigerator, the crispier it will be,” she says in the video. The minimum storage time in the refrigerator is at least two days. Are you taking notes, Billy?
She also advises viewers to freeze straws and glasses in advance and use True Citrus crystals. “It was in the freezer… for a long time,” she says.
“The level of love put into this Diet Coke is honestly inspiring,” one user commented on the video.
