All fans of the series Borderlands they will be pleased to know that the film inspired by the video game of the same name finally has an official release date: 9 august 2024. The film will be directed by Eli Roth, director best known for horror productions such as Cabin Fever o Hostel and will be distributed by Lionsgate.
The film boasts a cast of actors of the likes of Cate Blanchetttwo-time oscar winner, who will play Lilith, a notorious treasure hunter in search of Atlas ‘ missing daughter. Among others they undoubtedly deserve a mention Blackack, Amie Lee Curtis, Kevin Hart, Gina Gershon, Bobb Lee, Edgar Ramirez e Florian Munteanu.

The film was written by Roth in collaboration with Craig Mazin, screenwriter known for the HBO series Chernobyl e The Last of Us. The film was also produced by Gearbo Studios, the team that in recent years has dealt with the development of the game, and from Take-Tw, parent company of Gearbo.
