Dreams quickly turn into nightmares, humanity fades, and nature falters. As society strives to understand the darkness that lurks within, how long will it take for people to fight back against the endless cycle of violence and corruption?
Macbethwhich is otherwise known as Scottish play, It is believed that it was first performed in 1606.
The title role of Macbeth has attracted some of the world’s most famous actors, including Laurence Olivier and Ian McKellen.
Most recently, Saoirse Ronan starred in Macbeth at the Almeida Theater in London, and Daniel Craig and Ruth Negga star in the Broadway adaptation.
Directed by Richard Twyman, this production is presented by English Touring Theater (ETT), an international touring company headquartered in the UK.
Aiming to provide a balance of new and classic work, ETT’s goal is to “initiate dialogue and promote interaction.”
Over the past five years, ETT has produced over 55 live performances and digital content enjoyed by over 340,000 viewers.

They won the UK Theater Awards for Best Touring Production in 2014, 2015 and 2016 and Best Revival Play in 2019.

The show is designed by Basia Bienkowska, with lighting and sound by Azusa Ono and Tingin Dong.
Performances Macbeth runs from Wednesday 8 November to Saturday 11 November at the Cambridge Arts Theatre. The performance is intended for ages 12+.
Shows take place every day at 7:30 p.m., with matinees at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesdays and 2:30 p.m. on Thursdays and Saturdays.
