In early August, Mariela Trejos faced a delicate health situation and sought help from the media because she had no family in my country.

“My situation is terrible, we have been insisting on contacting the union, but no doctor has come, I need help, I am in pain, I have bedsores and severe gastritis”he said at the time.

Lima Mayor Rafael López Aliaga has since sent help to her home, and staff at Solidarity Hospital have moved her to the Maria Rosario Araos Municipal Shelter.

Mariella Trejos was born on July 22, 1948 in Colombia. She was married to her late husband, Jorge Billorou, but they had no children during their 36-year relationship.
