Ronaldo scored twice to help the team win 3-2 and qualify for next summer’s European Cup.

However, the shot went over the crossbar, leaving fans in awe.

After being picked out of the box by a curling cross, Ronaldo soared into the air and finished off an acrobatic finish.

His bicycle kick almost hit its target, narrowly missing the goal and grazing it.

Responding to footage of Ronaldo’s attempt, one fan joked: “I had a hard time putting my socks on this morning and I’m only two years older than him.”

Another added: “Someone remind this guy he’s 38 years old.”

A third fan commented: “My back hurts just watching this, I look nine years younger.”

Meanwhile, another wrote: “I really need to get back to the gym.”

Despite missing out on his acrobatic display, Ronaldo still scored twice in a crucial win for Portugal.

In the process, he scored 125 goals in 202 appearances for his country, setting a new world record for his country’s goals.

Before the game, the Al Nasr striker was honored to play his first home international game since his 200th appearance for the Portuguese national team.

Friday’s victory confirmed Portugal’s qualification for Euro 2024 in Germany.

Ronaldo will be 39 years old when the World Cup starts next summer, but he has already set his sights on the 2026 World Cup.

He has reportedly confirmed to Portugal and Al Nasr that he plans to compete in the next World Cup, which will begin when he turns 41.

Portugal was one of three countries to book their spot at the European Championships on Friday night.

Belgium and France have also secured their spots, joining host Germany in confirming promotion.
