Demi Lovato makes her directorial debut in documentary films about baby celebrities – Music

(ANSA) – NEW YORK, MARCH 17 – Demi Lovato makes her directorial debut and goes behind the camera in a docufilm that talks about so-called baby celebrities, including herself. Variety writes it.

The project is not surprisingly titled ‘Child’s Star’ and talks about the ups and downs of life under the spotlight of current stars who started to be famous as children. The documentary, co-directed by Nicola Marsh, will air on Hulu in 2024.

The streaming platform is owned by Disney, where Lovato began her career while still a teenager working on the movie ‘Camp Rock’ and the TV show ‘Sonny With a Chance’ both airing on Disney Channel.

In the past, the pop star has also been critical of the television network, claiming that she was subjected to too much pressure and treatment as an adult. (HANDLE).
