This afternoon Don Joe made an announcement that will make Italian rap fans happy. No, we’re not talking about the longed-for Club Dogo reunion, but the release of his new producer album. The release date of Don Dada (this is the title of his next project) has not yet been revealed. However, we know that it will be anticipated by three singles (with as many feautrings yet to be discovered) to be released on March 9th.
The record comes two years apart from Milan Sopranoin which Don Joe had gathered veterans and newcomers of the Italian rap and urban scene (Guè, Marracash, Jake La Furia, Emis Killa, Jack The Smoker, J-AX. But also Shiva, Rose Villain, Sacky, Massimo Garanzia and Coma Cose ). The producer of Thori & Rocks he had also packed a gift highly appreciated by all the fans of the most loved crew in Milan. Dogo Gang Bangsong in which Caneda, Ted Bee, Vincenzo da Via Anfossi, Emi Lo Zio and Montenero alternate on the beat, for a real back in the dayz in which the five members of the Dogo Gang recall the old times in which “the Gang went to school”.
The names that will be part of Don Dada are still top secret, but they all have one thing in common. Having been influenced by the path of Don Joe, one of the undisputed fathers of Italian hip hop.
