When you spend a million dollars on Tupac Shakur’s gold, ruby and diamond crown ring, you want to show it off. So, after showing off the newly auctioned item for the first time last week on one of her Instagram stories, Drake once again showcased the legacy piece in an interview with Sidetalk NYC at the Starlets strip club.
The rapper told the show’s host that his son Adonis’ mother, Sophie Brusso, has a place on the club’s wall of fame.. “I’m wearing Pac’s ring,” Drake said, pointing his $1.01 million little finger at the camera. He showed off the custom clothing Shakur wore during his final public performance at the 1996 MTV Video Music Awards. “My mom is over there on the wall.” When asked what he looks for most in a woman, the single dad replied, “Humor.” Declaring that if a woman looks at his interview with glassy eyes and is not funny to her, then this is not for him. The video also included footage of some of the club’s dancers throwing loads of money and urging the audience to come out.
This week, the rapper canceled a performance with 21 Savage, previously postponed at FedExForum, scheduled for August 6th. His team claimed these were production issues. The Memphis show was previously scheduled for June 29 as the start date for the tour.
