The short dress was designed to mimic a trench coat, and she doubled down on the look by layering an actual trench coat on top in a slightly darker shade of khaki.
Like her dress, the outer layer was cut to length and accentuated her hips.
The Superbad star wore chic sheer black tights that looked fashionable.
The Arizona native completed her elegant look by adding black leather heels with a bow on her feet.
She wore her freshly cut and dyed locks in fine, off-center partings.
Emma looked vibrant with subtle, shimmery makeup that highlighted her bright eyes.
She highlighted them with a little mascara and painted her cheeks a shade of pink.
The beauty look was completed with a moisturizing lip stain applied to her plump lips.
Her outfit was accessorized with an understated gold chain necklace.
During a surprise visit to an event at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Auditorium, the renowned performer spoke about her short film “Bleat.”
The silent film was directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, who looked stunning in a dark suit with glossy trim at the gathering on Wednesday night.
Talking about the film on stage, Emma called working on a film in which she has no lines “a dream come true.”
“If I never had to talk again, I would be delighted. And a lot of other people too…” she said during the chat.
She emphasized: “I’m serious. My favorite thing is not to say,” while noting that she believes “people can say so much more without saying a word.”
Yorgos and Stone also worked together on Bad Things, which hits theaters on December 8th.
