Fans of Johnny Depp literally fell in love with the new commercial of the Karlovy Vary Film Festival, dedicated to the Hollywood star.

The festival, also known as KVIFF, has posted a trailer for its 57th annual edition on Instagram, showing the 60-year-old actor arriving late for an interview after rehearsing for his band in a short video. After a few courtesies, the journalist asks the Pirates of the Caribbean star if he has ever won an award at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.
What happens next is surreal and just ridiculous. However, the context of the footage is crucial to understanding how interesting this commercial is: at the previous festival, which ends on July 8, the Hollywood star did not receive an award.
