Tommy Fury turned into a pure “fan” of Cristiano Ronaldo before being accused of leaving the football superstar hanging.
The Love Island star’s WBC heavyweight champion brother Tyson clashes with the former UFC title holder in a crossover boxing match in Saudi Arabia tonight.
The 35-year-old Gypsy King’s belt will not be up for grabs, but he puts his undefeated record on the line in the much-maligned showdown.
His Cameroon-born opponent left the UFC last year and has now signed with MMA Promotions and is training with boxing legend “Iron Man” Mike Tyson ahead of the fight in Las Vegas.
Both stars are now in the Middle East, where they faced off on Thursday in what has been dubbed “The Worst Fight.”
Icons from all over the world flew in for the game, with Ronaldo leading the big names.
Tommy just had a controversial victory over YouTuber KSI two weeks ago, and he has a huge fan base with 5.5 million followers on Instagram.
But he became a fan when he asked to take a photo with the legendary former Manchester United striker, who now plays for Al Nasr in Saudi Arabia.
Videos emerged on social media of Tommy patiently waiting for Ronaldo while he took numerous selfies with other guests.
Then the big moment came – however some viewers thought Tommy actually left Ronaldo hanging afterwards.

After the photo was taken, the 38-year-old Portuguese ace appeared to briefly look down at Tommy’s hand, but Tommy did not respond and walked away.
“CR7 is waiting for the handshake,” one fan declared on TikTok.
Another added: “Wait! No handshake with the goat?”
One fan commented: “Tommy Fury is a total fan.”
Meanwhile, his older brother Tyson was on better terms, sitting down to chat with the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
He told the football icon: “Cristiano, you are the greatest footballer of all time and I mean it.
“I’m a huge fan, I watch all the football games, when you were at Manchester United I watched your games, the first time, the second time, all the Real Madrid games, everything.”
Ronaldo replied: “But you’ve never been to the stadium?”
In response, Fury responded: “I came to the stadium and I was tortured a lot there, so it was very difficult for me.”
