A new appointment in the Music in Summer Evenings 2023 calendar: on Saturday, August 19, at 21:00, American singer Fatima Provillon will take the stage in the picturesque setting of San Giovanni dei Fiori Park. with DL range.

Inserted among events 49To concert season 2023 Ente Concerti “Alba Pani Passino”, the evening will offer a repertoire of black music with nuances of jazz and funk, masterfully performed by the voice of Provillion, accompanied by a group composed of some of the most respected Sardinian musicians such as Claudio Dado Leo on guitar, bassist Luciano Manca , Daniele Piu on drums and Mauro Mulas on keyboards.

The lineup contains several world-famous songs with personal interpretations and arrangements. These include “Crazy Race” by Roy Hargrove, “Talkin’ Loud” and “Roots” by unknown artists, “The Good Life” by Ben l’Oncle Soul, “Musicology” and “Call My Name” by Prince, “Don’t Mess with My Man” by Lucy Pearl, “Dear Day” and “Nothing Between Us” by Sade, “The Climb 2” by Maxwell, “It’s Love” and “The Long Walk” by Jill Scott and “Goodnight”. » John Legend.

Executor. Born and raised in Newark, New Jersey, Fatima Provillon began performing as a gospel choir soloist at the age of 8. In the past, he has collaborated with gospel singers such as JJ Hairston, Ernest Pugh and Brent Jones.

Arriving in Italy, she began a two-year course in breathing and vocal control with an opera singer. He wrote 7 songs which are the main theme of the album “Crazy” with Beppe Capozza produced by Believe Digital Records, which is sold worldwide on major streaming platforms.

He currently works as lead singer in several bands throughout Italy, on a summer tour with the Joe Castellano Blues Band in Sicily and at the Trasimeno Blues Festival. He has also collaborated with Bianco Rosso and the Blues Wine Festival since 2017. His dance music album is in development.
