From the youngest in elementary school to the oldest in high school. “What we believe is important to emphasize in these circumstances,” the heads of state write, “is the value of the school. A school in San Marino that is trying to change its face step by step. Adapting to changing times. But not without difficulties. After primary school, even secondary schools begin to feel the brunt of the demographic decline. Yesterday there were 980 students sitting at their desks, which is about twenty children less than last school year. “Unfortunately, even in secondary schools,” emphasizes director Remo Massari, “we are beginning to experience a demographic decline.” A high school for which big news is expected on Titan with the introduction, not this year, but from the next school year, of a short week. “The high school has been evaluating for two years now,” says the principal, “how to switch to a five-day school, because we also accepted the requests of parents who also switched by submitting applications to Arengo.”
The decline in the secondary school population has not yet been felt. Yesterday, 158 children returned to school, just four fewer than last year. For everyone from elementary to high school, the school year will end on June 7 next year.
