From singers such as Bonneau and Madonna to film stars such as Natalie Portman, many celebrities have been victims of Hamas’s bloody attack against Israel.
U2 frontman Bono changed the lyrics to the band’s hit “Pride (In the Name of Love)” during his residency in Las Vegas in the Netherlands.
The singer urged the audience to sing about “those beautiful children at this music festival”, referring to the hundreds of deaths and heroes at the Supernova festival, which was attacked by Hamas.
Madonna posted a video of the violence on Instagram, saying: “See how all these families and especially the children who are being driven are being attacked and chased in the streets and by their ill-wishers.”
“Conflicts can never be resolved by violence. Unfortunately, humanity does not understand this universal truth. It has never been understood. We live in a world devastated by hatred,” the singer added.

“Apoyo Israel and you should too,” Gal Gadot, the “Wonder Woman” star who is Israeli, wrote on Instagram.
“The world cannot waver in the face of these terrible terrorist attacks!” he added.
Natalie Portman, also Israeli, wrote on the platform: “My heart is broken by the people of Israel.”

The Rock actor said he was “devastated, embittered and driven back” by the Hamas attack.
“I’m not going to know everything about the whole conflict in the Middle East,” I say.
But he added: “Acts of terrorism are hateful because they can never be justified.”

Model Gigi Hadid, whose father is Palestinian, reiterated her support for the Palestinian cause but wrote: “If I truly have hopes and dreams for Palestinians, none of them include harming Jews.”
“Terrorizing innocent people… does not benefit the Free Palestine movement,” he opined.
Those who repeated attacks on innocent people fueled a “morbid cycle of retaliation, day after day, for decades,” which “helps perpetuate the false idea that one is pro-Palestinian = anti-Semitic.”

Renowned Argentine-born bandleader Daniel Barenboim, who grew up in Israel and has campaigned for peace in the region for decades, says he “vigorously” condemned the Hamas attack at X, earlier on Twitter.
However, he said Israel’s siege of Gaza “constitutes a policy of collective punishment that is a violation of human rights.”
