Guam Regional Medical City is accepting applications this month to join the new iCARE Heroes volunteer program.
The new scheme, which has a minimum application age of 15, will cover the following sectors:
- Management and support
- human recursion
- learning and development
- clinical education
- employee health
- Patient experience and customer relations
- Marketing and Communications
- Material management
- Admissions
- Quality Control
- linens and clothing
- Housekeeping
- Catering Services
- clinical and auxiliary
- Nursing unit and management
- Specialty Clinic
- clinical diet
- Radiology and Oncology
- Patient mobility transport and rehabilitation
Interested persons must meet the following requirements:
- Volunteers ages 15 to 17 must obtain parental authorization
- Must obtain court and police permission
- Must undergo drug testing screening, provided and coordinated by the GRMC Human Resources Office
- Provide current immunization records (PPD, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, and COVID-19 vaccinations). The PPD must be valid for 12 months. If the applicant is PPD positive, a copy of the applicant’s chest X-ray must be provided.
