Helena Christensen toasts her first collaboration with Hunza G at an intimate dinner at Nine Orchard

Tucked away in a private dining room in the popular Nine Orchard neighborhood of the Lower East Side, a group of Helena Christensen’s friends gathered Thursday night to celebrate her first collaboration with Hunza G, the swimwear brand known for its signature crinkled stretch fabric.

The Danish-Peruvian supermodel, resplendent in a red bodycon dress from the London-based brand, hosted the event alongside Hunza G co-founder Georgiana Huddart in the warm, intimate space with blue glazed tiles, antique chandeliers and a gas fireplace. -burning fireplace.

In between dishes of roasted lemon chicken, pasta with wild mushroom ragu and garlicky kale, Christensen met with housemates such as Julianne Moore, Adrien Brody, Hailey Logan, Georgina Chapman, Camilla Staerk and Tina Leung.

Christensen, an avid photographer herself, took numerous Polaroids throughout the night. The dishes were prepared by renowned Danish chef Frederik Bille Brahe (brother of jewelry designer Sophie Bille Brahe), a close friend of Christensen’s who flew to New York for the event.

“I love when collaborations come from an organic place,” says Christensen, a fan and owner of the brand for many years. Fashion. The six-piece campaign for the collection, featuring Hunza G’s versatile classic styles in lilac and white stripes (a tribute to Christensen’s favorite color, his maritime roots and years spent sailing the harbors of Denmark and the Peruvian River), was photographed on the beach and under creative by the supermodel herself.
