Amy Buono leaves Onlyfans: “The platform didn’t protect me”

“The platform is insecure,” says EmyBuono, speaking of OnlyFans, “it didn’t protect me because the content I posted for pay went viral and ended up on all mobile phones. Just think that everyone has seen some of this content. They even ended up in my boyfriend’s family and caused me big problems. I was shocked.”

The videos went viral

The young Neapolitan influencer explains himself better: “As long as these videos stayed on the platform, I was fine with that, but the fact that they went viral, available to everyone, made me understand some things. I made these videos for profit and was selfish, I didn’t think about anyone, neither about my family, nor about my loved ones.”

Retreat to a monastery

Amy Buono decided to start a reflection process at the Congregation of the Flattened Sisters of the Child Jesus in Sorrento: “I don’t want to become a saint, that’s for sure, but I want to get away from people who condemn me. . I meet people on the street, they say rude things to me, even if I’m with my mother. I want to go to a monastery in order to find peace and prosperity.” But then he assures that, at least for the moment, he is not going to take the vows.

Depression

Then Amy Buono also touches on the sensitive issue of mental health: “I came to flee my country, I became depressed, I was locked at home for two months, I took antidepressants and even thought about suicide.”

Appeal to other girls

She now hopes that the other girls who work for OnlyFans are fully aware of what they are doing: “I hope they understand this, because when the moment comes when your exposure is maximum, there is no turning back. I know for sure that I will never find a job in Italy again, because I will always be labeled for what I have done.”
