‘I’m really angry about…’: When Tom Holland revealed he was ‘scolded’ by his hidden father on the golf course because of his temper

Tom Holland is arguably one of the biggest stars in Hollywood today, playing one of the greatest superheroes ever written. So it’s natural for him to be surrounded by “yes men,” but he says he has a couple people who aren’t afraid to bring him back to reality every now and then. In a 2020 interview, the actor admitted that his parents scold him a lot, especially when he plays golf.

Tom Holland was scolded by his parents

On BBC Radio 1, Tom Holland took part in Kids Ask Tom Holland Tough Questions. One of the questions was when was the last time Tom was told off and why. To which he admitted: “I’m lucky to live in a world where everyone will just say yes.” So my people who scold me are my parents. And they often scold me.” The then 24-year-old explained that his father especially scolds him a lot.

Holland continued: “My dad always tells me off when I play golf,” he explained. “I get really angry on the golf course and he tells me off.” But the actor reportedly has a video up his sleeve that could solve this problem. He said: “The other day I got a video of him smashing his baton into a tree without him knowing, so I can use that against him next time I get upset.”

Tom Holland, with whom he would like to be stuck on a desert island

In the same interview, he was also asked to choose two people he would like to be stuck on a desert island with. Holland didn’t hesitate to choose Chris Hemsworth because “he’s Australian” and for Holland that’s enough to go head-to-head with nature. He was confident that he wouldn’t have to do anything since Hemsworth would take care of everything. It was difficult for the actor to choose the second person, but he chose Dave Bautista, because, in his own words, “two animals are better than one animal.”

Holland, meanwhile, has taken a break from acting but recently made headlines for attending Beyoncé’s birthday concert in Los Angeles with Zendaya, where he was pictured performing a popular “silent challenge” started by the singer.
