In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the Barbie actress explained how she managed to get a role in the film. She remembered the time she was hit Leonardo DiCaprio, a scene she improvised on. She said: “So I get really close to his face and then I say, ‘Maybe I should kiss him. When will I ever get a chance to kiss Leo DiCaprio again? But another part of my brain clicks and I just say, “Blow!” I hit him in the face. And then I shout: “Fuck you!” And this is not in the script at all. There was deathly silence in the room, and I froze.”
However, she did not know how the filmmakers The wolf of Wall Street and DiCaprio reacted to this and regretted this decision for some time. She recalled: “I’m thinking, ‘You just punched Leonardo DiCaprio in the face. They’re going to arrest you because it’s an assault,” Robbie recalls. “You’ll never work again, that’s for sure.
