On the talk show, Fallon asked Nicole Kidman if she remembered their first meeting. To this, Kidman admitted that she remembers this and has not seen him since. Speaking about his side of the story, Jimmy Fallon shared: “I’m walking down the street in New York and my friend Rick calls me and says, ‘Dude, what are you doing?’ I say: “I’m just walking down the street,” he says: Nicole Kidman is with me. She wants to meet you, maybe to go to Bewitched or something, so I say, “What? Fine.’ And he says I could be at your apartment in about ten minutes.”

The actress said: “I just remember that I liked you.” Fallon was startled and shocked as Kidman continued, “So Rick, our mutual friend, says, ‘Oh, you know, Jimmy wants to meet you and you can go to his apartment.’ And I’m single and I’m like, ‘Okay, yeah, cool,'” to which Fallon responded, “Wait, what?” The Enchanted actress then revealed, “So I walk up and you were there with a baseball cap on. and like… nothing! But you didn’t talk, you didn’t say anything. You’re like, “Hey,” and I’m like, “Okay, that’s it.” It was like hanging, it was just supposed to be, I don’t know.” She then added, “And then you turn on a video game or something and I’m like, ‘This is so bad.'”
Given Fallon’s cold reaction, Nicole Kidman concluded that he might be gay. The actress added: “I swear you didn’t talk at all. And after about an hour and a half I was like, ‘He’s not interested, this is so awkward,’ and I kind of walked away and walked.” Okay, no chemistry,” and then I thought, “Maybe he’s gay.”
