It’s time for Oppenheimer. “Barbie” stays in the cinema, but “Haunted House” arrives – Program and trailer

In short, no “Barbieheimer” in Italy… even if both films were shown together for at least a few days. Directed, written and co-produced by Christopher Nolan, the new film is based on the biography of Robert Oppenheimer, an American physicist and one of the main proponents of the Manhattan Project that led to the invention of the atomic bomb. Critics called it “Nolan’s best work”, a real “masterpiece”, if not “one of the best films of the 21st century”. But the cast is really stellar. The main character is played by Cillian Murphy, Thomas Shelby from Peaky Blinders, who has already worked with Nolan on several projects (the Dark Knight trilogy, Dunkirk, Inception). Alongside him, we see Emily Riot and Florence Pugh in the female leads, as well as Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr., Rami Malek and Kenneth Branagh among others. The film is available in Italian and in the original language with subtitles.
