“I tried out for Twilight. I was rejected immediately. They didn’t even call me back.
But thank God because my life would be very different”.
Although, of course, we know that ultimately Twilight went to see Kristin Stewart, Jennifer Lawrence revealed that due to the success of the vampire franchise, she thought about not settling for her role in The Hunger Games.
Explaining her reasoning, Jennifer said that what scared her was the fandom of these kinds of films.
“When I was trying to make this decision after it was offered to me, I thought, ‘I don’t know if I want to do this.’ It was so hard to explain to people, but I didn’t feel ready for that level of fame.”.
Lawrence showed that she knows that The Hunger Games destined to be as successful as Twilightand at that moment it was not what she wanted.
Instead of international fame, the actress has really shown that she really wants to make independent films.
