The actress has repeatedly shown interest in directing, but today she is more than ever focused on working as a translator.

Jennifer Lawrence has no plans to direct the film in the near future.

In 2015, the Hunger Games star came close to directing a film called Project Delirium, a project that never came to fruition and for which the 32-year-old herself decided to take a step back.

In an interview with Good Morning America, Jennifer answered questions about her possible future as a director, stating, “I’ve been thinking about this for a long time, but now I’m too tired. It seems very difficult.”

The Oscar-winning actress has previously revealed that she dreams of going to the other side of the camera. “It’s funny because I’ve wanted to make a film since I was 16 and always thought I should start taking steps in that direction. If I had been asked earlier, I would not have been ready. But now I feel ready,” Lawrence explained.

“Project Delirium” was based on a 2012 New Yorker article titled “Operation Delirium”, which discussed experiments performed by military doctors on soldiers during the Cold War.

Meanwhile, Jennifer is set to return to theaters with No Hard Feelings, the third film produced by her company Excellent Cadaver, which will release on June 23rd.
