Jessica Chastain opens up about how her relationship with Oscar Isaac has changed since Scenes from the Wedding.
Jessica Chastain and Oscar Isaac wowed photographers on the red carpet at the 2021 Venice Film Festival when they attended the premiere of Scenes from a Married Life, based on Ingmar Bergman’s 1973 miniseries of the same name.
Chastain said in an interview with Vanity Fair that her friendship with Oscar Isaac from that job has never been the same:“The scenes at the wedding were very heavy. And I love Oscar (Isaac), but the reality is that our friendship has never been the same. Everything will be fine, but then I thought that I needed air. love you, I hate you on this show.”.
The actress expanded on her own work:“But there is so much joy in what I do. There is a lot of catharsis in this. I feel like I have the best job in the world because I get this experience. they are mine. But then I live a very quiet life. I don’t need to have these ghostly things in my life. I play them and live them, and then I go home and live quietly and peacefully.”.
