Jessica Chastain touched down at the Venice Lido to promote Michael Franco’s Memento, an independent film in which she stars alongside Peter Sarsgaard as a woman with a troubled past and for which she received more than six minutes of applause from the audience.

Born in Sacramento, California in March 1977. Jessica ChastainHaving experienced a difficult childhood and leaving school before graduation, in 1998 he made his theater debut as the main character Romeo and Juliet, produced by Theater Works, which earned her a scholarship to the Juilliard School in New York. In 2011, she played the role of Virginia in the film. Coriolanus, is a modern adaptation of William Shakespeare’s tragedy of the same name, directed and starring Ralph Fiennes, presented at the Berlin Film Festival. In May of the same year he was at the Cannes Film Festival with two films: Find shelter Jeff Nichols, e The tree of Life Terrence Malick, starring Brad Pitt and Sean Penn, was the film that won the Palme d’Or and launched her into success. He also interprets Help Tate Taylor with Emma Stone and Sissy Spacek, for which he received his first Oscar nomination.
In 2014, he took part in the drama Miss Julieinspired by August Strindberg’s work of the same name, directed by Liv Ullmann and starring Colin Farrell and Samantha Morton.
Two years later, she made her debut as a producer and lead character in the film Tom Clancy: Division (2016), based on the video game of the same name, and in 2017 he plays Superlatives Lady from the Warsaw Zoo Niki Caro, inspired by true events and told by Diana Ackerman in her book.

Jessica Chastain is a staunch feminist who has often addressed the issue of discrimination against women and minorities in Hollywood, advocating for greater gender balance on set, not only among actors/actresses, but also in all roles and positions of power. He took part in Tom Donahue’s documentary on this topic. This changes everything.
