Jimmy Butler has admitted he thinks Latin pop queen Shakira is “incredible” amid relationship rumors swirling around a potential couple ahead of the 2023-24 NBA season.

The 34-year-old Heat forward was seen hanging out with the “Whenever, Wherever” singer over the summer following her split from former Barcelona defender Gerard Pique last year.

Moreover, Shakira moved to live in Miami this year with her two children, Milan and Sasha, and has been seen supporting the Heat, especially Butler, many times in the past.

The Colombian has also been linked to Formula One star Lewis Hamilton, with whom she spent time after the Miami Grand Prix concluded in May.

Asked about rumors that he and “Shaq” were dating, Butler, who is entering his 13th NBA season, said, “She’s an incredible person and an incredible talent.”

“But you never know what people are doing, so people just make things up,” he further told Rolling Stone. “Just because we’re friends and she lives in Miami and her sons are big basketball fans doesn’t mean we’re dating.”

“Just because people hang out doesn’t mean someone is dating.

“But it gives everyone a chance to talk, so you all take it and run with it.

“She’s very, very cool and that’s all I have!”

During the interview, Butler also talked about how much his daughter Riley, born in 2019, means to him.

Shakira was also spotted hanging out with Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton in Miami in May.
Butler reportedly has a daughter with Kaitlyn Novak, 32, who is said to be a model and influencer.

According to Hello!, the six-time All-Star has been in a long-term relationship with rarely seen girlfriend Kaitlyn Novak for years.

The couple does not follow each other on social networks and does not share photos together, as they prefer to keep their romance a secret from everyone’s attention.

Novak, 32, is believed to be from Nebraska and has a degree in public relations, advertising and applied communications from the University of Nebraska.

She is reported to be a model, influencer, and entrepreneur currently living in Los Angeles, California.
