Shamier Anderson, interpreter of The Tracker in John Wick 4, has expressed the desire to return to a spin-off on the character, also revealing who he would like to play the villain.
John Wick 4 – currently in Italian theaters – has introduced some new characters in the long-running franchise, who have immediately won the attention of the public. He is certainly one of these The Tracker – in the Italian translation known simply as “Nobody” -, played by Shamier Anderson. In recent days, the actor has therefore expressed the desire to see one made spin-off on the characteralso suggesting who could play the potential villain.
John Wick 4 – Shamier Anderson already has clear ideas for the spin-off on The Tracker
Shamier Anderson – mainly known for the series Wynnona Earp – then debuted in the franchise of John Wick as The Tracker\Mr. Nobody, a character with a complex and mysterious past. Past that Anderson would like to explore in one spin off dedicated to him – as he revealed to the microphones of Volture. Indeed, the actor believes that The Tracker could be a great title for an action moviein which he would like to share the scene with some Hollywood stars:
(referring to the fact that Liam Neeson visited the set of John Wick) Liam Neeson he would be a fantastic villian as well Denzel Washington could be a perfect antagonist. It would be interesting, however, to have one female villain; Meryl Streep could really go beyond the character (…) In conclusion this is my top ten: Liam Neeson, Denzel Washington and Meryl Streep.
Anderson – who in the course of the same interview confessed to having inspired by Heath Ledger’s Joker for the construction of his character – he therefore has very clear ideas about the future of The Tracker. The star, moreover, is not the only one to have expressed a desire to return to a spin-off of the franchise – Donnie Yen, for example, had already declared in recent days that he wanted to reprise his role as Caine. The franchise of John Wick it is in fact destined to expand with numerous side projectsas also confirmed by the historic manufacturer Erica Lee. After the spinoff Dancer with Ana De Armas and the prequel series The Continental, Lee has in fact announced the arrival of a new project in the coming months – which could concern Anderson or one of the other new entry of the cast, Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgård, Hiroyuki Sanada and Rina Sawayama. The Adventures of John Wick they are therefore – probably – concluded – with the fourth chapter, but the universe created by Chad Stahelski will continue to expand instead. All that remains is to wait for further updates on the fate of The Tracker.
