Jungkook’s debut album features Shawn Mendes, Ed Sheeran and Major Lazer

In just a few weeks, Jungkook is set to make his solo debut with the release of his first album. Gold. The highly anticipated album is scheduled to release on November 3, and ahead of its release, the BTS star has revealed the full tracklist, including producers, songwriters and performers. Notably, Jungkook has enlisted the talents of several famous and successful artists to join him in this exciting project.

Jungkook’s label, Big Hit Music, shared a graphic on social media detailing the collaborative team behind it. Gold. The announcement has caused quite a stir among fans as the tracklist reveals a star-studded line-up.

Among the artists presented, two of the four names on Gold has already been revealed. Both Latto and Jack Harlow lent their talents to the album’s first two singles, “Seven” and “3D”, respectively. Impressively, both of these tracks debuted in the top 10 on the Hot 100.

For songs from albums that have yet to be released, Jungkook seems to be exploring a more dance-oriented sound. The production team of Major Lazer, led by Diplo, participates in the recording of the second song, “Closer to You.” In addition, DJ Snake appears on the track “Please Don’t Change”, promising listeners a dynamic and energetic musical experience.

The credits also highlight some noteworthy songwriters who contributed to Gold. The fifth track on the album, “Yes or No”, was co-written by the prolific Ed Sheeran, accompanied by Johnny McDaid of Snow Patrol. Another song on the album, “Hate You,” was co-written by the talented Shawn Mendes. Neither Sheeran nor Mendes appear on the songs they helped write.
