Justin Bieber spotted playing basketball with fashion brand Nahmias in Los Angeles league

Pop star Justin Bieber has been an avid NBA fan for several years. Fans may remember back in 2018 when he played in not one, but two NBA All-Star Games. In 2011, he joined the West team, playing under coach Magic Johnson alongside Trey Songz and Romeo Miller. Years later, in 2018, Bieber returned to play alongside an all-star cast.

There, he joined the likes of Nick Cannon and Michael B. Jordan in a bout that pitted the famed Los Angeles Lakers against the Los Angeles Clippers. Although he hasn’t competed in the Celebrity All-Star Game since then, Bieber’s love for basketball hasn’t wavered.

He was recently seen playing for fashion brand Nahmias in the Los Angeles Basketball League. Justin Bieber has worked with the brand before, but this week he laced up his basketball sneakers.

Along with his longtime friend Ryan Good and Nahmias founder Doni Nahmias, Bieber competed in The Sugeon organized basketball league against SRGN. Although Bieber’s team lost, he caught the attention of fans on social media.

The time Justin Bieber was baptized in the NBA champion’s bathtub?

While longtime NBA fans may remember Justin Bieber’s two appearances at the Celebrity All-Star Game, few fans know about his friendship with Tyson Chandler. When the 7-foot star played for the New York Knicks, he hung out with Bieber, having become friends with the megastar years earlier.

Since Justin Bieber was going through some difficulties, he decided to talk to the pastor, who joined the couple at Chandler’s apartment in New York. Bieber then decided that he wanted to be baptized.

During an appearance on Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson’s All The Smoke podcast a few years ago, Tyson Chandler recalled the situation:

“Then I was in an apartment, in a high-rise building, and called the guy who had the key to the gym, which had a swimming pool. But he didn’t hit me back. So I told Justin I couldn’t get into the pool. But the pastor said we could use my bathroom, so I allowed them to use it. And then he got it. Then he left his boxes in my daughter’s room.”

Given this unique situation, it’s safe to say that the pop sensation will likely be the only person to ever be baptized in an NBA player’s bathtub.
