Kid chases LeBron James at Lakers game: ‘You look like you ripped your pants’

A child told Lakers star LeBron James that he looked like his pants were “in shreds” during the Los Angeles Lakers’ game against the Orlando Magic on Nov. 4.

The statement was indeed an attempt to take James out of the game, but the Lakers star didn’t seem bothered by what viewers said to him in the video.

The fan also kept shouting to the Lakers star to “stop failing.” That jab was definitely not the original.

Judging by the questioning, the young fan seemed to be rooting for the Magic in that game, which Orlando ultimately won by 19 points.

On November 4, James had an outstanding performance against Orlando, scoring 24 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals on 8-for-15 shooting (2-for-5 from beyond the arc). Still, it wasn’t enough for the Lakers to win the game.

Los Angeles has played two games against the Magic this season, defeating Orlando on October 30 in Los Angeles. In that game, James scored a season-low 19 points.

Despite being in his 21st season, the four-time champion is still putting up extremely impressive numbers for the Lakers. James averaged 25.3 points, 8.4 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game, shooting 56.1% from the field and 32.5% from beyond the three-point line.

A 19-time All-Star, James is one of the most polarizing figures in the NBA, so it’s no surprise to hear young fans heckle him during games.

This just goes to show how focused James is when he’s on the court, and it’s a big reason why he’s been able to maintain such a high level of play throughout his NBA career.

Although the Lakers have not played the Magic again in the regular season, they may face the Magic in the Finals if both teams can advance to the Finals. Orlando isn’t expected to be a title contender yet, but the team could end up surprising the league if it makes the playoffs.

If that scenario somehow materializes, James might have to face more than just one young fan trying to take him out of the game.
