Larsa Pippen, who split from Marcus Jordan after 18 months of dating, took to social media on Monday to send a pointed message about choosing your partner wisely.
Larsa, 49, retweeted an Instagram Stories message that read: “The man you choose to be your partner affects everything in your life.
The statement continues: “Your mental health, your inner peace, the love in your heart, your happiness, how you survive tragedy, your successes, how your children will grow up, and more.” Make smart choices. ‘
Larsa, 49, and Marcus, 33, unfollowed each other on social media on Sunday, sparking mixed speculation while The Real Housewives of Miami The personality also likes to make cryptic references to ex-partners in Instagram Stories.
On Monday, a source confirmed to People magazine that the two have ended their romance. The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Pippen and Jordan for comment.
The first two have ties to the Chicago Bulls NBA dynasty of the 1990s, as Marcus is Michael Jordan’s son and Larsa is Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife.
Both were active on social media on Sunday, with Larsa posting a poll that read: “Should your friends unfollow your ex?”
On Sunday, Marcus was seen posing on social media with his famous father, 60, who publicly expressed his disapproval of his son’s relationship last summer.
Last July, when Michael went to dinner at the Matignon restaurant in Paris with his wife Yvette Prieto, 44, he was asked about the relationship and whether he approved of it. The iconic NBA player laughed at first, then said, “No.”
In Sunday’s post, Marcus apparently referenced pro-secession propaganda, writing, “I searched for a name and ended up seeing ’20 Things.'”
He added “MJX2” in reference to his matching initials with his father, who was pictured wearing a brown hat with an off-white top as the family watched the Super Bowl together.
Larsa and Marcus have their own iHeartRadio podcast called “Separation Anxiety,” which debuted in June of this year. It’s unclear whether the podcast will continue following their apparent breakup, as their most recent podcast was released in November.
Shortly thereafter, Larsa and Marcus both addressed Michael’s comments on their podcasts, with Marcus saying he was funny and didn’t think Michael’s comments were malicious.
“Immediately I thought: ‘Like, he’s playing; he’s joking, he’s laughing,’ Marcus said. ‘You know, he’s just joking.’
Larsa said she “didn’t think it was funny” and thought “there was nothing funny about it,” adding, “I do understand that it’s not awkward for us to be together because it’s us, but it’s a big deal for my ex-husband and It might be embarrassing for my ex-husband.” Your dad. ‘
Larsa and Marcus were first spotted hanging out together in 2022 in their hometown of Miami. She told People magazine that she initially started talking to Marcus in 2019 and that they had a “good foundation of friends” before dating.
