LeBron James made it clear he won’t let a Los Angeles Lakers game get in the way of seeing his oldest son make his USC men’s basketball debut.
The NBA star told the media Thursday night that he would have fallen if he fell on the same day his son LeBron “Bronny” James Jr. played his first game with his school team. Skip the Lakers game.
“I’m looking forward to his first game. … I’ve told my teammates that if they play on the same day that we play, I might have to catch them in the next game,” he said during the Lakers’ loss Oklahoma City said afterward. “Family above all else,” he later added.
“Whenever Bronny is cleared and ready to play, I’m definitely going to see his first college game,” he said.
