LeBron James, Jay Z and other celebrities come to Boulder to attend Colorado-USC

The Colorado Buffaloes will face the USC Trojans on Saturday at Folsom Field. Although the Buffs fell short in the USA LBM Coaches Poll, the hype surrounding Deion Sanders and his team never stopped.

As the defending Heisman Trophy winner and top-10 team descends on Boulder for Coach Prime’s first Pac-12 home game, the list of celebrities and big names expected to be in attendance is impressive.

The Colorado State game brings a long list of popular names, and this game could beat the tone of attention generated by USC itself.

On Monday, BuffsBeat’s Josh Toole reported on some of the names expected to be in Boulder this weekend:

Those stars will miss Colorado’s next home game against No. 5 USC. A source told BuffsBeat that the list of celebrities expected to attend on Saturday includes LeBron James, Jay Z, Matthew McConaughey and the returning Lil Wayne.

There’s no disputing that Fox’s “Big Noon Kickoff” will be in Boulder again, and the treatment is eerily similar to what it was like in the early 2000s, when Pete Carroll was pulling popular names left and right to watch Trojan games.

Colorado lost a lopsided loss to Oregon State last week in its first game of the year, and USC’s win over Arizona State took a little longer than expected, so that game should be removed from both sides’ testing schedules .
