Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio in the film Killer Flowers

“I want to vindicate the Osages.” This was director Martin Scorsese’s motivation to tell the story of the murdered people in a series that would come to the Osage nation in the twentieth century, like the film The Assassins of Lua das Flores. Here again, released today by Apple Original Films on screen from Paramount Pictures, the director, who also stars alongside Eric Roth, brings his longtime character to life, just as Leonardo DiCaprio and Lily Gladstone helm the production.

The video also features new long scenes and the character Bill Hale, played by Robert De Niro. The film will be released on October 19th, distributed by Paramount Pictures and will be available in IMAX theaters.

Based on David Grann’s bestselling novel of the same name, The Lua das Flores Killers depicts the oil exploitation that brought fortune to the Osage Nation in Oklahoma in 1920, and how it immediately led to the attraction of invading packs who manipulated, extorted, rubaram, chegando and came violently crimes in the series against the native people.

Based on a true story and told through the impromptu romance between Ernest Burkhart (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Molly Kyle (Lily Gladstone), Assassins da Lua das Flores is an epic Faroese saga where true love is revealed in an untold story.

Not to mention DiCaprio, Lily Gladstone and Robert De Niro, there are big names like Jesse Plemons and Brendan Fraser. It is currently produced by Apple Studios in association with Imperative Entertainment, Sikelia Productions and Appian Way. It stars Leonardo DiCaprio as executive producer alongside Rick Yorn, Adam Somner, Marianne Bauer, Lisa Frechette, John Atwood, Shea Kammer and Nils Juul.
