LeBron James’ son Bryce and Carmelo Anthony’s son Kiyan will participate in Team USA youth training camp

USA Basketball has invited some NBA royalty to participate in youth national team training camps starting in October.

Team USA announced its 85-player roster on Monday, which includes the sons of LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony and Alijah Arenas.

Anthony ranks No. 36 among 247Sports’ 2025 composite player rankings and No. 6 among shooting guards. So far, Providence, Florida, and his father’s alma mater, Syracuse, have shown interest.

James is still a little over a month away from transferring to Notre Dame High School to continue honing his skills on the hardwood.

Team USA’s minicamp will be held October 6-8 in Colorado Springs, Colo., and will also showcase some of the top recruits from their respective classes.

“USA Men’s Basketball is excited about the elite players participating in the Junior National Team minicamp,” said Men’s National Team Director Sean Ford. “It is a pleasure to welcome back several gold medalists and athletes from the junior national teams over the past three summers and to introduce a group of young, talented players to the program.”

Dylan Harper, Ace Bailey and Tre Johnson are all ranked in the top five of 247Sports’ 2024 composite rankings. The same goes for the 2025 class of Koa Peat, Caleb Wilson and Meleek Thomas, while the 2026 class will be represented by AJ Dybantsa, Tyron Stokes and Brandon McCoy, among others.
