Bryce James hits a 3-pointer and knocks it down.

Bryce James youngest son Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James paid an unofficial visit to Ohio State University on Saturday.

James attended No. 4 Ohio State’s 37-17 win over Maryland.

He shared an Instagram post of his visit on his account, while highly regarded 2026 point guard Dezhon Hall (also on an unofficial visit) shared a photo of him and James on his account .There are also posts on James’ social media Talking with Ohio State coach Chris Holtmann in football matches.

James is a 6-foot-6 small forward rated as a four-star recruit in the 2025 class by ESPN. He left Sierra Canyon School (California) in the summer to attend Campbell Hall School, then left Campbell Hall in August to attend Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, California. Last spring and summer, James played 15 games for the “Pursuit of Excellence” grassroots program on the Nike EYBL 16U circuit, averaging 7.6 points per game.

His brother, Bronny James, comes to Ohio State more than a year after he visited Ohio State with LeBron last September to watch the Buckeyes win over Notre Dame. Bronny James considered Ohio State and Oregon before ultimately signing with USC in the spring.

Bronny suffered a cardiac arrest during a team practice in July, but LeBron said earlier this week that his son is doing “really well” and is recovering and hopes to play for USC this season.
